A payment that balances to the cent

Open this Tallow Creek payment. In one file the payer reversed an earlier underpayment and paid it again at the contract rate, paid one claim a second time by mistake, took back an old overpayment, and added interest for paying late.

Before anything is stored the bridge proves the file balances: charges less adjustments equal payments for every line and claim, and the payment equals the claims less those provider adjustments. A file that is off by a cent is refused, with the place it is off.
