Renee manages the East Region, so she sees only its three sites
Ridgeline is organized as two legal entities, a clinical group and a management company, with the clinical group's 6 sites in an East and a West region. Every claim belongs to the site it was billed from. The Organization page lists them.
Renee Alvarez is a practice manager like Marcus, limited to the East Region: Main Campus, Jefferson Park, Eastgate Family Care. Her claims, work queue, denials and follow-ups hold only those sites' claims. A payment that also paid West claims shows her own claims and says how many it left out. Payers, contracts and payment totals belong to the whole organization, so she still sees them.
The database enforces this the same way it enforces roles, and the tests prove she cannot read or change another site’s claims. If she opens a claim at another site she gets the same answer as for a claim that does not exist (Not found, or at a site outside your access), so she learns nothing about it. Everyone else can filter the claims list, the work queue and the denials page by site and region.
Billers can be limited the same way. Kendra Hollis bills for the West Region only: her work queue holds only West claims, Mine shows the ones she owns, and only claims she can see can be given to her. Like anyone limited to some sites, she cannot import files, because a payment file touches every site.
A bar stays at the top of every screen so you can come straight back to this step.
